Has anyone had experience with theseso called”internet credit repair” copanies and if so does this sorta thing really work to boost your credit and can the things they claim they can get off your credit eventually re appear? What companies would you suggest? Thanks

to be honest. it’s cheaper and fast to actually pull your own credit report and do it yourself.

take care of the little items first, pay them off whole.

if you have other debt over a few thousands, negotiate a lower price and make montly payments that way they can send in notification to the agencies that you are paying.

it can take you about 3-6 months to do this. the same amount of time one of those companies can do it and they charge an arm and a leg, sometimes other body parts, too.

Question by pandora: Can anyone recommend a legitimate service that will help you correct the information on your credit reports?
I’m not referring to “credit repair”. All three of my credit reports have a lot of incorrect information on them, and I’m really not sure how to go about getting them corrected. I have heard that it’s difficult to do, so I was hoping that someone could recommend a service that I could use to help get my information corrected.

Has anyone ever tried these companies offering per month to clean your bad credit. Did it work? Any suggestions on who to contact?

ripoffs most of them. Call your bank or credit union and ask who they refer people to.
